Yesterday, I was riding in the car with a friend who shall remain nameless for this particular blog. She was pulled over for what I considered to be a ridiculous offense. I'm sure it's an actual rule, but I have seen more people break it than I could count. I myself have apparently un-knowingly broken the law just about every time I drive. She used the center "turning lane" to merge with traffic.
So, all the adults in the car were discussing how silly it was that she was being pulled over, all being very supportive...and I, not quite as supportive, say, "I'm so glad it wasn't me who got pulled over!"
I don't think any of us even realized that Bryce was listening to the whole conversation in the back seat. So when he randomly spoke, it was especially funny. "I'm so glad I'm not grown up!" His comic relief certainly lightened the mood.

I use the center lane for merging all the time! And get frustrated at the people in front of me in parking lots who won't pull out and use the center lane to merge. Guess they are just being lawful. :)
